Our steel frames are E.D. coated to act as a rust preventative and a primer. This high-performance rust inhibitor is applied inside the frame and out. Paint or powder coat is then applied to the outside for another layer of protection.
NOTE: While we take measures to prevent rust, the rider must maintain their frames properly. To prevent rusting and to keep your frame’s finish in the best shape, your bike should always be stored indoors. Anytime the bike gets wet or dirty, you should clean and dry the entire bike upon return. This is really important in winter environments that use road salt.
